Well there must be something in the air up at Disney World, because my appetite seemed to have trippled in size. I was hungry every two hours and I think I was eating every three. Everything looked and smelled so good, I couldnt help but want to eat everything in sight. Well now that I’m home I know it must have been the Disney parks because its almost 4 in the afternoon and I’ve only eaten once today. Well it sure drove J crazy…but I enjoyed every bite.
Over the weekend I tried a funnel cake for the first time at the Magic Kingdom. And boy oh boy was it gooooood. Crispy and crunchy and loaded with powdered sugar. I prolly could have eaten 10 over the weekend, easily. But I only had a half of one, I really should have fought J for the other half! Next time I’m up at Disney I am sooooo having another one, two or three!
They also have this amazing pizza at the Magic Kingdom, at this one little place. It reminds me of this pizza I used to always eat as a kid…so crispy and saucy…I love it!
Oh and most importantly was when we were on our way home last night…we stopped at McDonalds, for J of course. And they had the SHAMROCK SHAKE!!!!! My brother and I used to have these every St. Patricks season, until for some reason they vanished. I went almost 10 years without them, until I had one maybe 3 years ago in Cali. But yesterday they had them and even though I was stuffed…soooo stuffed but yet I had to have one. It was just how I remembered it, soooo minty, creamy and refreshing. Today craving another one I called headoffice to find a local location selling them (since its by participation only) and sure enough I called around and found a place right around the corner. For the next couple weeks, if my tongue is green this is why.
Well these will be the treats that until my next fix, I’ll be dreaming of day and night.
