Naps.
Naps are an essential part of my being, they recharge me, relax me and make me feel all warm and cosy inside. During a normal week I take 1-2 naps usually lasting 30 minutes or longer, usually longer. During a botched week the amount of naps I take usually exceeds the amount of days there are during a week.
A guilt free nap is the best kind, its when you have nothing planned and it doesnt matter what so ever if you sleep away the entire day.
Then there is the “I’m resting my eyes” nap, where you know you shouldnt be napping and you try your hardest not to, but sometimes its inevitable.
The nap I find myself most frequently having is the nap where if you dont lay down to nap, then you end up falling asleep where ever you are at that moment.
The worst nap I’ve come to know all to well, is the ‘on the beach’ nap. Its when the sun melts you into the deepest, warmest, potentially amazing nap…but that can endup in a horrific sunburn if youre not careful.
Currently I am planning a “resting the eyes” nap, while watching HSN and listening to the kitties growl, play and roll around with eachother.
I do encourage you too, to take a nap. The type of nap isnt important, the only thing that counts is that youre sleeping while everyone else is working!!
